Viola Davis, Gal Gadot, and Claire Foy have all received the #SeeHer award — and this year, Kristen Bell is joining their ranks. Bell is set to receive the #SeeHer award at the Critics’ Choice Awards this weekend, and we can’t think of a better recipient for this honor from the Critics Choice Association.

Led by the Association of National Advertisers (ANA), SeeHer is a global movement fighting for more realistic, accurate representations of women in media and advertising. The SeeHer movement is committed to creating and supporting media projects that feature real, authentic women, and Kristen Bell is working toward those same goals.

Had the most rewarding day screening #Frozen2 for these lovebugs at Children’s Hospital. We sang, played and my heart grew 10 sizes. Thank you @childrensla for having us. ❤️

Bell has made her mark on the entertainment industry in so many ways, from starring in hit films like Frozen (and Frozen 2) to leading beloved TV series like The Good Place and Veronica Mars. She’s also the executive producer behind Encore, a Disney+ show that features host Bell recreating high school musicals with the original cast, decades later.

But Bell’s acting isn’t all she’s contributed. As a star who’s refreshingly honest about her life as a working mom and the challenges she faces every day, Bell has played a huge part in dismantling the idea that motherhood — or being a human in general — is an effortless feat. While many celebs (and regular people alike) work hard at maintaining a perfect façade for their lives, Bell and husband Dax Shepard have never been afraid to pull back the curtains on what a day in their life really looks like. And we absolutely love them for it.

Wherever there is crisis and uncertainty, there is always a woman standing close by with answers and solutions. On this #WomensDay , I’m joining @wphfund to support and celebrate baller women who are changing the 🌎 and building peace in their communities. http://wphfund.org/donate #wphfund #supportwomen
