Who says you can’t be in your 70s and also look like an absolute rock star? Not Vera Wang.
The designer channeled her inner rock goddess during the Art Basel show in Miami Beach. The 73-year-old dressed up for the art show in a simple black, long-sleeved shirt, a black miniskirt with sequined-pockets, and skin-tight, thigh-high black boots that make her legs look miles long.
“When your look matches your vodka…” the designer captioned a series of seriously chic snaps on Instagram as she held a black and white bottle of Chopin Vodka. The designer stands in an ultra modern, neutral-toned kitchen lined with crystal glasses, holding the bottle of vodka with her perfectly manicured, bold orange nails.
Fans were wildly into Wang’s whole vibe, as evidenced by the flood of applause in the comment section. “She is inspirational!!!😍👏,” commented one. “🙌🔥❤️ ageless perfection,” added another.
Wang’s clearly having a great time at the prestigious art show that has celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio to both the show itself and its swanky after parties. She posted another series of pictures in the same killer outfit lifting up a glass in a toast to fellow lovers of art (and an orange-adorned vodka cocktail).
“Cheers! A vodka moment! Art Basel begins! A Gagosian gathering!,” she captioned the Instagram carousel, name-dropping a global network of art galleries with artists whose pieces are available at Art Basel.
Fans wished they could be clinking glasses with the fashion icon in real life. “Cheers… oh how I wish I was there!” wrote one fan in the comments. “You are so youthful what is your secret! It is so inspiring to women,” added another.

It is seriously inspiring. Wang seems to have stopped aging at least 20 years ago — and one of the secrets to her eternally youthful glow is RoC’s anti-aging face moisturizer with SPF 30. One of her other secrets seems to be simply having fun and disregarding the “rules” women of a certain age are supposed to follow in terms of fashion.
